Stourbridge will be looking to end a winless run that stretches back to the last day of October as they travel to Stafford Rangers this afternoon.
The Glassboy’s poor run of form has seen them slip to 12th in the table while an 8-point gap has opened up between them and the play-offs.
They have won just nine of their 21 league games this term, and the club’s challenge for promotion looks to be fading.
In their last outing, Stourbridge were held to a 1-1 draw by ten-man Whitby Town, who themselves hadn’t won in the league since the end of September.
Meanwhile, Stafford Rangers have won just 8 of their 22 games this season, and two of those wins came in the opening two games of the season.
Stafford, who have former Stourbridge player Karl Hawley on their books, currently sit 16th in the table.
A Stafford win would take them level on points with Stourbridge, but the Glassboy’s superior goal difference (+5 against -8) would prevent a leapfrogging bar a miraculous result.
