Ambulance Service Wins Big at Awards

Staff at West Midlands Ambulance Service are celebrating after being named ‘Ambulance Trust of the Year’ at yesterday’s Health Business Awards.

The award was presented to non-executive director Jacynth Ivey and paramedic Rob Moore by Dr Phil Hammond.

The ambulance service serves a population of 5.6 million people across the region with an army of more than 4,000 members of staff and around 800 vehicles.

Speaking after picking up the award, Rob Moore said: “So much work [is] going on all over the Trust to make things like this happen, and it was an absolute honour to collect [the award] on behalf of everyone alongside Jacynth.”
